Defining terms is important in communicating with others.

The following concept is about "actuality vs reality". Actuality is what exists in the universe. We might never know it because it is so complex and based in chaos theory. What exists might be so complex the human mind might not be able to percieve or understand it.

Consider that animals are able to smell scents we are not aware of. The honey bee can see colors we are not aware of. There are many life forms living in our world that sense things we do not. It is almost as if they are living in a different world.

We are limited by what our outer and inner "senses" tell us and we call that "reality". The scents we can't smell and the colors we can't see are not "real" to us and are not part of our "reality".

It is our subjective veiw of "Reality" that we live and act in. There is also a "collective reality" we agree on most of the time. For example we agree to drive on the right side of the road if we live in the United States.

There is a paradoxical element about actuality and reality. The closer our "reality" approximates "actuality", the more successful our efforts will be. If we believe in a fantasy that is make believe it will never manifest results in physical life. If it works use it. If it does not work...throw it away. We are interested in results and in fulfillment of our needs. We are not interested in perpetuating illusion and superstition.

Another aspect of this issue is that a "close minded" person will achieve much more than an "open minded" person. The close minded person has no doubt about what is right and what is wrong. He or she does not hesitate to do what he or she feels is needed.

For personal empowerment we need to be "close minded". This will grant us certainty and keep us tightly focussed on our goal. The trick is to be "close minded" in a healthy way. We do this by perfecting our personal veiw of reality or our "paradigm".

In following our "inner authority" we get flashes of insight and personal "truths" that gradually become our "reality". When we find our "true path" and "True Will" we know what is real for us. We become "close minded" in confidence that we are doing what is best for both ourselves and we are also helping the entire human race.

Our individual needs are complex and each person is different from their neighbor. Still we can simplify our needs into broad general catagories.

The important concept is to live "balanced" lives, giving attention to each major area. If we devote too much time and energy to one area, the areas we have neglected will create problems for us.

The ancients used astrology and the twelve houses to catagorize our individual needs.
They are:

Ego and self
Money and possessions
Travel
Family
Romance and Love
Work
Partnership and marriage
The Occult and death
Higher Education and Law
Our public image
Our hopes, dreams and wishes
Our restrictions

My appologies to any astrologers for mistakes I might make in this. It is simply a map or grouping of life's major areas. We need to pay attention to each area in a balanced way if we want to be successful in life.

Anarchist World, the new online community has forums for these 12 areas to offer a well rounded experience and place to visit. This helps to ensure vital areas are covered for a balance approach to living.

In addition to devoting time to each of these areas there are seven other personal areas to be developed.


The most obvious deals with our physical need to stay alive in physical bodies. This includes body awareness, awareness of the environment through the physical senses, our ability to live in the moment. It also deals with the ability to stay alive.

Our physical and etheric bodies require nutrition and exercise to remain strong and healthy. There is a requirement to "live in the present moment" and develop these needs to the fullest capacity. It is through aerobic exercise we develop our ability to manifest our dreams in physical reality. There is nothing magickal about this.

We have our sexual needs and instinctual drive to perpetuate the human race through reproduction. This requires us to openly confront our sexual needs and interact with a partner in order to fulfill them. Repression of the sexual drive has caused death and perversion. Feelings of guilt and shame have made something beautiful and sacred seem dirty and ugly. We need to cultivate healthy attitudes about sexuality by finding an appropriate partner.

Joy, laughter, music and creativity are emotions that make life rich and rewarding. These are feelings that make life worthwhile. Have we set aside time to play each day?


Follow the way of our heart. What do we stand for? What things are sacred and make us who we are. What concepts and values define us and how others to see us. We need to believe in who we are and what we stand for. We need to believe in ourselves and in our ability to achieve personal happiness. There can be no compromise because we need to live with ourselves and the voice of our own conscience.

In communicating with others we learn we are not alone in our experience. Our ability to learn from others and to learn from our own mistakes allows us to progress and develop in life. It's good to learn social skills and teach others what we know. We learn from others what we need as well.

We all have glimpses of insight that involve a "knowing" and percieving of "architypal" reality. It is through these intuitive "flashes" that our internal authority will reveal personal truth. These intuitive "flashes" form our personal paradigm or view of reality if we have enough of them and trust in them.

It is our personal view of reality that determines our physical actions and how we attempt to fullfill our needs. We do what we think is right, even if it is wrong. The more we listen to our internal authority, the more we will do the right thing.

It helps to remember we are all brothers and sisters, common members of the human race. We can't hurt someone else without hurting ourselves. We are a part of the earth and what we do has purpose and is important.

Each and every day we should exercise our physical body, devote time to our primary relationships, play and have fun, do or read something inspiring. We can challenge our intellect by learning something new. Meditate and commune with our inner authority and lastly, reflect on the unity of all things and how each has it's own place and time.

The first concept to discuss is that anyone and everyone has it within themselves to find happiness by fullfilling their own individual needs. This means you are competent to fill your own needs and I am competent to fill my own needs. The spark of the divine is within our hearts and can guide us in the fulfillment of our needs if we will listen to it.

This spark of the divine has been called the Christ Spirit, God/dess of our hearts, the Master Within, our conscience or even the still small voice. It is an internal authority and not an external authority. The true path to mystic power and enlightenment is when we follow our "inner authority" above all others.

This inner authority knows and understands our "True Will" and reason for living in this lifetime. By being free to act according to our own true nature we will do what is best for ourselves and by doing the best for ourselve, we will at the same time benefit the rest of humanity. In becoming who we are truely meant to be, the entire world benefits. There is no need to conform to the demands of any "external authority".

We must be free to act according to our own nature. Turning to an external authority such as government or religion or the law to solve our problems and fulfill our needs will never work. We can't allow ourselves to be forced or intimidated by any external authority.

We must remain true to our own "Inner Self" at all cost. We must not give our power away to others. This is what it means to be an Anarchistic Knight. There has always been a lot of secrecy and controversy surrounding secret organizations like the Rosicrucians and Freemasons. This is especially true concerning the nature of their initiations.

In a mostly illiterate world secret societies used theatrical drama and oral teaching methods to transmit advanced philosophical concepts. Many of the concepts were political dynamite and considered heresy by the church,

I will give a few examples to illustrate just what I mean.

Early Roscrucians and Freemasons believed that a mystical experience was possible for anyone. Personal contact with God or Divinity did not require the intersession of the Pope. The implication was that salvation did not require the Pope either. What was required was surrender to the Christ Spirit within our hearts. The still small voice that spoke as our conscience.

The bible is highly symbolic in nature and not to be taken literally. The world was not really created in seven days. It was a symbolism describing seven stages of creation. This conflict came to a head with the rise of evolution and Darwinism.

The early mystery schools taught reincarnation and karma. This was highly at odds with the one soul, one life, one heaven, one hell approach. We can not run from our problems because we will keep encountering them in future lifetimes. It is better to confront these painful lessons and deal with them squarely and honestly.

The Mark Master mason degree taught the importance of fraternity and helping each other. Masons were sworn to come to the assistance of a brother in need and to keep their word with each other. This was the root of doing business on a hand shake. It was a value that was once much stronger than it is today.

There is only one God or Deity and He/She has been recognized by the holy men and women of all ages and all nationalities. He/She has been known by many names under many religions but has always been the same. This means Allah, Jehovah, Goddess and others all refer to the "Grand Architect of the Universe". The guiding intelligence behind creation.

While these initiations were physical and emotional, they were at the very core conceptual and life altering. The human mind once expanded out of its narrow box can never again return to such restricted thinking. These initiations were the path to personal freedom and empowerment.
